Dani's Biography

I see you desire to learn more about the mistress of the dark. The first thing I must tell you is that Dani is not a creature of the night. But her fascination with vampires, ghosts, ghouls, and all things that go bump in the night dates back to the time when she was fifteen years old and picked up her first Stephen King book, Salem's Lot. She proceeded into the dark realm of horror by reading classics like Dracula and Carmilla and watching movies great vampire flicks like Fright Night and The Lost Boys.

Romance, well let's just say that Dani didn't believe in it much as a teenager. Oh she had her dreams, but Dani gave her heart away far too easily in her younger years and had just about given up on love when at the age of nineteen, she met her husband, Phillip.  Her darling taught her that true love does exist as well along with the finer points of pleasure. Not along after she started dating her soon-to-be husband, Dani picked up her first romance novel, a historical by Linda Lael Miller. She was thrilled to learn that Ms. Miller also wrote paranormal romances and promptly picked up a few vampire romances. Dani had a an idea for a sexy vampire tale brewing in her head for quite some time, and finally decided to sit down and write it. Dani also writes historical and fantasy romances under the pen name of Marguerite Arotin. She has a five year old son who keeps her running when she's not writing.
