Five Hearts from Aryn @ Loves Romances and

THE LOCKTENDER’S DAUGHTER
got a five because of Marguerite
Arotin’s natural ability to keep
this reader always interested.
This writer used the very
captivating element of envy and
vengeance and sometimes even a
little bit of danger with
Bethany and Tyler as they
embarked on their journey to
find Tyler’s uncle. Anyone who
reads this book will easily be
able to see that the characters
connected with each other very
well. The characters also
connected well with this
reviewer. The plotline for
THE LOCKTENDER’S DAUGHTER
was very believable, the author
made it this way by using the
old horse robberies as a setting
in her story. The way Bethany
was always trying to resist
Tyler, and with each try she had
less success was also very
captivating. To answer the

Five Star Rating.
Mrs. Marguerite Arotin spins a
wonderful historical tale about a young couple named
Tyler and Bethany. They agree to team up and travel
across Ohio by horse and canal boats to find Tyler’s
crooked Uncle Josiah.
Tyler’s goal is to clear his
name and practice as a doctor and Bethany’s is
revenge for her head love Hagan’s murder caused by
Josiah. But along the journey Bethany learns there
is more to life and love than a promise and revenge.
Tyler learns there is more to a woman then he ever
thought possible.
Mrs. Arotin has a way of
putting the reader right there where the action is.
You feel every whim and desire that grows between
Tyler and Bethany as they travel and learn about
each other. Danger lurks in dark hollows and truths
come to light. Josiah’s bad way of life is slowly
unraveling on him even though his plans are paved
with good intentions it doesn’t matter. You reap
what you sow.
But will Tyler’s love be enough
to hold Bethany? Read the wonderful tale that this
writer has spun and find out. You won’t be
disappointed.
The Locktender’s
Daughter is a lovely
read. Bethany and Tyler
are interesting
characters who seem to
have something in
common. They want to
help others and put a
stop to Josiah, while
also trying to find a
happy life filled with
love. The reader gets a
feel for Bethany’s
sorrow after losing her
first love. She emits
bravery and
determination during her
sorrow. After meeting
Tyler, I hoped that she
would be able to once
again share in love and
try to bury any hurt she
suffered. Uplifting and
sweet, Marguerite
Arotin pens a story
of lost love, revenge,
and discovering love all
over again. She gives
strength to her
characters and shows how
sometimes even crushed
dreams can eventually
find a path to begin a
life anew. With a
colorful cast of
secondary characters,
this story is a most
enjoyable read.
